How Trash Pickup Works
Red Bird Waste is simple: sign up online, we deliver your cart, you put it out on your pickup day. One weekly pickup, one truck, one local owner.
The process, step by step
Go to our signup page, enter your address, pick your cart size and whether you want recycling, choose a start date, and pay with your credit or debit card. Takes about three minutes.
We'll deliver your trash cart (and recycling cart if you added it) within a few days of signup. No extra charge — delivery is free.
Your pickup day is Tuesdays (Delavan), Wednesdays (Beloit), or Thursdays (Clinton). Set your cart at the curb the night before — by 6 AM on pickup day at the latest.
Nick or one of the route drivers picks up your cart, empties it, and sets it back. Observed holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving) are delayed one day that week.
Monthly customers: your card is charged automatically at the start of each month, 30 days ahead of service. Quarterly and annual customers get one bill and pay when it arrives. No surprise invoices, no payment chasing.
Special cases
What if I'm on vacation?
Put your service on vacation hold for one month or longer. No charge, no penalty. Just let us know when you'll be back.
What if I miss a pickup?
We pick up the next time we're in your area. We can't go back to previous weeks, but if you catch us during the route, we'll make a same-week detour if it's convenient.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no penalties. Let us know and you're done. If you cancel before the 15th of the month, you get a refund for half the month; after the 15th, no refund.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes. Switch between cart sizes (within senior rules), add or drop recycling. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
